Volunteer right before the holidays and feel really good about it! Weatherization Action Phase III

Who benefits from this?

Good question.  Well, aside from providing a model for the community of how you can make your old drafty building more energy efficient, 40 Webster Place is actually the home to four local non profits.  Brookline Community Foundation owns the building, but we rent space at a subsidized price to PALS Children's Chorus, the Brookline Education Foundation, and the Brookline Community Mental Health Center.  Our confrence room is used by numerous community groups for little or no cost  - and we have a garden that provides fresh produce in the spring and summer for the Food Pantry.  So when you come down and help weahterize BCF, you really make your volunteer hours count.
